Sheryl Sandberg is an American business executive, philanthropist, and author best known for her role as the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook). A powerful voice in the global conversation about women’s leadership and workplace equality, she is the author of the international bestseller Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead. Sandberg also founded LeanIn.Org, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women achieve their ambitions. Prior to Meta, she served as Vice President of Global Online Sales and Operations at Google and worked with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
