to die!"
As I heard those words I stood thunderstruck as though the sky was falling. From nowhere gathering of
ominous, abrupt and dark clouds on the hitherto clear skies of our family!
Then came the fierce winds lashing in full fury, bringing cataclysmic changes on its trail. The raging storm swept over
us, taking the heaviest toll in the death of my mother. She passed away in February 1971.
Ever since then life, has never been same----for our family, our country. On the heels of my mother's
the death came the war of liberation and everything went further awry, topsy-turvy! Grappling with the loss of our
mother,and also confronting the catastrophic upheavals facing the country--- it was like fighting two frontss at the whirlwind of turmoil, chaos and agony, I drifted only to find my sanctuary of love and protection no more...my safe haven snatched away! I had embarked on a journey through the dark alleys of tear, uncertainty and danger! same time! Caught in a To achieve the ultimate, sacrifices equally great made! Nothing went in vain! The beginning of an end....the beginning of a glorious attainment!Bangladesh is born!
