The Trachtenberg Speed System Of Basic Mathematics is a gateway to making rapid mental arithmetic calculations. The Trachtenberg system is named after Jakow Trachtenberg, the Russian-Jewish engineer who developed this system while he was held in a Nazi concentration camp.
