This book titled, “Service Delivery of Urban Local Government Institutions Contemporary Practices in Bangladesh” talks about the current status of the service delivery system of the urban local governments. It also talks about theproblems and prospects of modern urban service delivery. Urbansociety relies on standard city services.This book comprises 2 parts. Part 1talks about localising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into theservice delivery of urban local government and Part 2describesproblems and prospects of service delivery in the City Corporation Ward Councillor’s Office. The objective of this book is to discuss the prospect of localising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the service delivery of urban local governments with a particularfocus on some specific City Corporations in Bangladesh .The general public engages the most with the local governments because they receive most of their services through the local government institutions.So, there need to be more competent to address the disparitiesin their service delivery method and take measures to improve their relations with the public.
