আশরাফুল আল শাকুরপৈতৃক নিবাস পাবনা জেলায় হলেও জন্ম থেকে শুরু করে বেড়ে ওঠা হয়েছে ঢাকাতে । বাবা মো আব্দুস শুকুর এবং মা আনার কলি। বড় বোন শাকিলা পারভীন যিনি পেশায় একজন চিকিৎসক। স্থানীয় একটি স্ক্লে হাতেখড়ি শেষে ভর্তি হন ঢাকার গবর্নমেন্ট ল্যাবরেটরি হাই স্কুলে। অত্র বিদ্যালয় থেকে ২০১২ সালে মাধ্যমিক পাস করে কলেজ জীবন শুরু করেন নটর ডেম কলেজে। ২০১৪ সালে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শেষ করে প্রকৌশলী হবার স্বপ্ন নিয়ে স্নাতকজীবন শুরু করেন বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পুরকৌশল বিভাগে। ছোটবেলা থেকে বই পড়ার আগ্রহ ছিল । শিক্ষাজীবনের শুরুতে গণিত অলিম্পিয়াডে প্রতিযোগী হিসেবে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। গণিত অলিম্পিয়াড,বিজ্ঞান অলিম্পিয়াড সহ আরো অনেক প্রতিযোগীতায় আঞ্চলিক ও জাতীয় পর্যায়ে পুরষ্কার পেয়েছেন। ২০১৫ সাল থেকে গণিত অলিম্পিয়াডে একাডেমিক টিম মেম্বার হিসেবে কাজ করা শুরু করেন। এরপর ২০১৮ সালে একাডেমিক কো অর্ডিনেটরের দায়িত্ব লাভ করেন এবং ২০২১ সাল থেকে বাংলাদেশ গণিত অলিম্পিয়াড কমিটির একাডেমিক কাউন্সিলর হিসেবে কাজ করছেন। এক বছরের কর্মজীবনে জুনিয়র পরামর্শক হিসেবে কাজ করার সুযোগ হয়েছে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের গণিত অলিম্পিয়াড প্রকল্পে। সাইকেল চালানো এবং বিভিন্ন জেলায় ভ্রমণ করতে ভালোবাসেন।
