CONTINUOUS BAR ROLLING: ENGINEERING FUNDAMENTALS AND INDUSTRIAL ADVANCES (পেপারব্যাক)

Preface: Over the past five years, we have been nurturing a dream of writing a book on the principles of the rolling process from the perspective of the industrial sector in Bangladesh. The impetus for doing this work finally resulted in ‘Continuous Bar Rolling: Engineering Fundamentals and Industrial Advances.’ We then had to embark on the task of spelling out and developing the theoretical approach underlying our previous work experiences. We have tried to write this book in a way that will be understandable to students with no specialized knowledge about the rolling process. The book is intended to be a relatively concise reference to some of the field-oriented theoretical tools used in contemporary techniques in our country. The book is technical in nature, discussing physical problems solely as examples of specific theoretical concepts and computational methods. We aim to present systematically the fruitful theory of rolling parameter calculations. All other new concepts relating to a modern rolling mill setup are discussed briefly here; thus, students can adapt to a modern rolling mill at their workplace. This book, being a first edition, may require some corrections, which we will address in the next edition. Therefore, we would greatly appreciate any suggestions or comments.
